  school trip           It was a day that brought me patience and joy together🤗. It was the day we decided to go on our annual school tour. As we are studying in grade 13, we got permission from the school principal for a three day trip. It was another thing that made us even happier.   Our tour started from Kaudulla Maha Vidyalaya, in our school, at 2 in the morning. We all got on the bus and started our journey. We did not forget to dance 💃, sing and applaud during this journey.The teachers who joined us for that are also singing We were happy too 🤗💖.                   Gradually we reached Nuwara Eliya 🥶 and began to experience its beauty.We visited many places during the tour, including Addison Bungalow, Gregory's Lake, Victoria Park,Horton Plains, Highland Farm.         We had a lot of fun in Nuwara Eliya.      A visit to a hospital  During last vacation one of my friends met with an accident😥. She was admitted to the polonnaruwa general hospital. Where I paid her a visit. I took this opportunity to see the entire hospital. As I entered the hospital, I saw people coming and going. I went to the enquiry office and enquired about the wards. Fi rst of all, I visited the general ward where my friend was admitted. She was quite better now as a wounds had healed. Then I visited the surgical ward. I saw patients had their arms and legs bandaged and plastered. I also saw how a nurse and doctors were attending to them. Then I went to the medical ward. I saw some of the patients lying on their beds very pensively 😞. Th en I turned towards the operation theatre. Outside the theatre, I saw patients awaiting an operation lying on stretchers. Noise pollution is more prominent in urban areas as compared to rural areas.     Whenever the sound level exceeds the permissible limit (above 70 to 75 dB) it is called noise pollution. It's severe effects on human health are sleeplessness, lack of concentration and performance degradation, stress, cardiovascular disease etc.    It disturbs the environment and scares away animals and birds from a particular area, disturbing the ecological balance. It may excuse serious health issues including hearing loss and mental disturbances.     There is a need to take collective measures for minimizing the effects of noise pollution .
